I would be your girl

Mes Chèries,

Thanksgiving has come and gone and I can truly say I am thankful for so much in my life. The Pretty Committee, my family, Bean, Brownie, Derrick, the other crushes, and of course you guys, my readers 🙂

I started off my Thanksgiving by awaking and hopping into a warm Cozy Christmas Philosophy-scented bubble bath. After drying off I quickly slipped into a perfectly Thanksgiving-themed outfit.

I then tiptoed down the steps to see my parents in the kitchen, working on the feast that would soon come. After helping them make the dressing and set the table, my family members started to arrive. Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and distant relatives soon filled the dining room as everyone caught up and snacked on our delish appetizers.

My parents then brought out the turkey with the my aunts and uncles close behind then with the potatoes, gravy, cranberries, green beans, stuffing, carrots, and rolls. We all sat down, said grace, and dug in.

Fast forward three hours later and the Pretty Committee arrived and we proceeded to take over the kitchen. We baked two pumpkin pies from scratch and then texted the crushes to come to my house ASAP! They arrived in a hurry, wondering what the emergency was, and were surprised with five gorgeous girls with a dessert in each hand.

We all sat down and shared pumpkin pie together which may have led to a small whipped cream fight 😉 But don’t worry, we left the kitchen cleaner than it was before. We then curled up on the l-shaped couch and watched Elf. It was the perfect end to the perfect holiday.

Friday morning the girls and I woke up and ventured out to The Westchester. With all of the cuh-razy Black Friday shoppers, we were almost trampled a few times but luckily we made it out alive and with some great deals. Kristen, of course, was ecstatic 🙂

This morning the girls and I woke up after a busy Friday Night sleepover and met Monica to practice our Cheerleading routine for Regionals. After three hours of jumps, twirls, and tumbles we went to Starbucks to refuel and recharge. After an afternoon of homework and Christmas list brainstorming, I am now getting ready to go over to Monica’s where we will all meet up and then head over to a party.

I am finally back! Sorry for my small blogging hiatus but I have been awfully busy. I will later be updating A Key To Kelsey with all of the details on what’s kept me away for the past two weeks.

I want to give a huge thanks to all the girls who commented on my last post. All of your stories were so sweet and I really appreciate you coming forward and sharing your experiences. I really hope people can learn from you girls because all of you are truly inspiring.

Now for an announcement!
